When they were little, two boys, Sora and Sunao were kidnapped by an institution and severe experiments were done on them. To endure the pain and psychological damage, they developed strong alternate personalities. When they got older, their alternate personalities start to take over uncontrollably.
I love a scene in the last episode where Sunao realizes that Sora actually becomes his strong alternate self.
